About the Role 
As a Compliance Test Engineer, you will be part of our Compliance team, working in an ISO 17025–accredited laboratory. In this role, you’ll be responsible for executing compliance tests and preparing high‑quality reports for all Enphase products.
If you have 2+ years of experience in the electrical or electronic industry and enjoy working with analytical data, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
You’ll work hands-on with advanced test equipment and utilize Python-based integrations to perform grid performance tests, ensuring our products meet international compliance standards.
What you will do 
  • Perform compliance testing in our ISO 17025–accredited lab, applying detailed knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with Nationally Recognized Testing Labs (NRTLs) to coordinate regulatory testing activities.
  • Support regulatory approval processes by demonstrating product compliance with applicable standards.
  • Lead efforts to obtain and maintain self‑certification status for our products.
  • Contribute to team objectives by assisting with related tasks as needed.
Who you are and What you bring 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field—or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of electrical and electronic engineering principles.
  • At least 2 years of recent experience in compliance/homologation, product design or development, or testing of complex electronic products.
  • Experience with photovoltaic systems, energy storage devices, or power electronics is an advantage.
  • Python programming skills are desirable.
  • Working knowledge of relevant standards such as:
    • AS/NZS 4777 series 
    • EN 50549-1 
    • IEC 61000 series 
    • UL standards 
    • …and other applicable standards
  • Familiarity with national and international regulations and the ability to work with Local Authorities Having Jurisdiction (LAHJ) or regulatory bodies is a plus.
